Before the turbo LS. Before the frame-off K20s. Before Sixty8 became a name on a shop wall, there was a yellow S10. This was the beginning.

Dave grew up in a true car town, surrounded by the culture, sounds and attitude that come with it. His fascination with anything on wheels started early. As a kid, he built his own lowrider bicycle, obsessing over the stance, details and personality of the build. That first taste of creating something unique quickly grew into a lifelong love of vehicles and the culture that surrounds them.

By the late '90s, that passion had evolved into mini-trucking. Dave built the yellow S10 as he came up through the scene, bagged, body-dropped and laid flat at every event. More than a show truck, it became the foundation for a craft that would eventually define Sixty8 Industries.

A journeyman welder by trade, Dave developed his eye and his process through years of hands-on work: learning to weld with precision, fabricate with purpose, and refine every detail until the result was exactly right. Nothing was left untouched, and nothing was accepted simply because it was good enough.

That same pursuit of proportion, finish and execution lives in every project that leaves the shop today.

Dave's passion has never been limited to one style or one platform. He has a genuine appreciation for anything automotive, from classic and modern muscle cars to custom motorcycles, lowriders and everything in between. Whether it has four wheels, two wheels, a rumbling V8 or a hand-fabricated frame, he's drawn to the design, craftsmanship and character that make a machine special.

But beyond the shop, Dave is first and foremost a family man. When he's not building, fabricating or chasing the next detail, he enjoys travelling and making memories with his wife and young daughter. For him, the craft is part of the journey, but family is what makes the journey worth taking.
